Tapak

Nita Senoadji × STHYA × ÂMES
Plataran Dharmawangsa
22 August 2026

âmes returned to Plataran Dharmawangsa for its second gathering, presented once more alongside Nita Senoadji and STHYA. Where the first show marked a beginning, this one asked a quieter question: what does a house leave behind.

Tapak means imprint. The trace left by a step, a hand, a season of work. The premise was simple. Everything we make and everything we pass through leaves a mark, in places we have been, in memories we carry, in traditions handed down without instruction. The afternoon was built around that idea rather than around a season.

The setting was again one of Javanese timber and afternoon light, arranged so that each piece could be met in proximity. Guests were seated close. Nothing was staged at a distance. Three houses shared a single room and met through materiality, craftsmanship, earthy palettes, and considered design, three perspectives that did not need to be reconciled to sit together.

âmes presented three collections.

Bleu carries birds across a symmetrical field. The bird is the subject, though the colour is the point, which is why the collection is named for it. Nothing about the design was recalled from life. The argument arrived while the design was being made, and stayed.

Cadence works in measure and repetition, a rhythm held steady enough that the eye stops looking for the edge of it.

Tuileries holds the composure of a garden kept in order, a place remembered less for what stood in it than for how it asked you to walk.

The pieces were worn by models from Layak Talent Agency. This was not a gesture appended to the programme. It was the programme. A garment finds its meaning through the person who wears it, and carries their story onward as much as it carries ours. To cast otherwise would have been to say something we do not believe about who these things are for.

Our thanks to Nita Senoadji and STHYA, to art.isane for accessories, to Layak Talent Agency, and to Duvaderm, di.mari coffee, Courthaus, and La Verre Restaurant and Bakery, whose support shaped the day.

An imprint is not proof of arrival.
It is proof of passage.

What we leave, softly.
